Our Story

How It All Started

Two and a half years ago, a tiny apricot toy poodle walked into our lives and changed everything. His name is Toastie, and from the moment he curled up in our arms, our family was complete.

There were four of us before Toastie — but somehow, he made us five, and made us feel like a real family for the first time. The kids learned responsibility, compassion, and the kind of unconditional love that only a pet can teach. Our mornings now start with excited tail wags. Our evenings end with him nestled between us on the couch. Every walk is an adventure, and every nap together is a moment we want to hold onto forever.

Toastie didn't just join our family. He transformed it.

The App That Didn't Exist

As first-time pet parents, we were overwhelmed. Vaccination schedules, feeding guides, vet records, grooming appointments, weight tracking — the list never ended. We tried every pet app we could find.

One app tracked health but couldn't store documents. Another had a food diary but no vet records. Some were beautiful but shallow. Others were powerful but felt like spreadsheets. None of them understood what it means to truly care for a pet — the whole experience, from their first puppy vaccinations to their daily walks, from their quirky personality to the memories you never want to forget.

We wanted one place for everything. One app that was as thoughtful about our pet's care as we are. One companion that grew with Toastie — and with us.

So we built it ourselves.

Why Pet Capsule

Pet Capsule isn't just another pet app. It's the app we use every single day for Toastie. Every feature exists because we needed it. Every design decision comes from real moments — the panic of a late-night health scare, the joy of looking back at puppy photos, the relief of having all vet records in one place when it mattered most.

We built AI-powered health insights because we wanted quick answers at 2am when Toastie ate something he shouldn't have. We built the memory timeline because we realised how quickly puppyhood flies by. We built the care dashboard because juggling medications, grooming, and vet appointments across sticky notes and calendar apps was chaos.

Everything in Pet Capsule is built with one question: "Would this help us take better care of Toastie?" If the answer is yes, we build it.

A Family Project

Pet Capsule started in Melbourne, Australia — and now lives in California, USA, where our family has put down new roots. But no matter where we are, Toastie is always closest to mum. He's her shadow, her co-pilot on morning walks, and her not-so-secret favourite colleague during work hours.

We're a dedicated team driven by the belief that every pet deserves thoughtful care, and every pet parent deserves premium tools that make that easier.

When we're not coding, designing, or debugging, you'll find us at the park with Toastie, discovering new walking trails, and making memories we never want to forget.
