Can Dogs Eat Chocolate?

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, both toxic to dogs.

Details

Dark chocolate and baking chocolate are most dangerous. Even small amounts can cause vomiting and diarrhea. Large amounts can cause seizures, heart failure, and death. The darker the chocolate, the more theobromine it contains. White chocolate has minimal theobromine but is still unhealthy due to fat and sugar content.
