Most dogs love peanut butter and it is a great source of protein, healthy fats, and vitamins B and E. CRITICAL: Always check the label for xylitol (birch sugar), which is deadly to dogs. Choose unsweetened, unsalted peanut butter with no artificial sweeteners. Use in moderation due to high calorie content.
